Seminar on ISO28000 in security management
Sheffield Consulting Groups Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Lloyd's Register of Shipping (M) organize a one-day seminar on Managing a Safe & Secure Supply Chain - ISO28000:2007 Security Systems for the Supply Chain .
The seminar, to be held on March 25 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, would discuss the ISO28000 in security management system along the supply chain, Sheffield Consulting said in a statement.
ISO28000:2007 has been developed in response to a demand from the transportation & logistics management standard with the objective of improving the overall security of supply chains.
According to the statement. the ISO28000 is suitable for all sizes & types of organisations, from small medium to multinationals, in manufacturing, service, storage or transportation, as well as the sales processes about production or supply chain.
The organisers believed that the launch of ISO28000 at this seminar augured well for the economic scope of Northern Economic Region, Iskandar Development Zones & East Coast Economic Region.
The main speaker of the seminar will be Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (Hong Kong) senior manager, Peter Boyce, who has extensive security management experience & was in the drafting committee for ISO28000:2007 standard.
Participant can also obtain insights from distinguished guests & speakers from the relevant government namely the police & customs.
