Validation

Validation is when LRQA assures your projected data and documentation, and forms a validation opinion based on the outcome.  A positive validation opinion indicates that we have confirmed your capability to deliver the required outcomes against an agreed set of criteria

This can relate to Directives and Climate change & sustainability services.

Validation, within the context of climate change schemes, assures your GHG reduction or removal project design data and documentation. Our validation opinion confirms your projects are capable of delivering greenhouse gas emission removals or reductions against an agreed set of criteria.

We offer validation of project design and other required documentation for Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) or Joint Implementation (JI) projects. This is essential for the project to be registered.

Verification

Verification is when LRQA assures your historical data and information confirming that you have achieved the required outcomes against an agreed set of criteria. Once a successful verification is completed and technical approval given, we award you with a verification statement.

This relates to Directives and Climate change & sustainability services.
