Leading automotive companies can now officially begin the transition to IATF 16949:2016, collectively modernising the industry’s most widely used international standard for quality management.
From 1 October 2017 all audits must be completed to IATF 16949:2016 – the quality management system (QMS) standard for organisations in the automotive industry. As a result, industry leaders will soon benefit from revisions that emphasise continuous improvement, defect prevention and reductions in supply chain variation and wastage.
