  • to gather objective evidence through observation, interviewing and reviewing documentation

You will need

  • knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001 and experience of auditing
  • ideally to have attended our ISO 45001 Appreciation and Interpretation course
  • to understand the basics of how organisations work and the role of top management
  • to have good knowledge of ISO 45001 and possess knowledge of occupational health and safety management principles and concepts, including: the concept of occupational health and safety development; the purpose of an initial review as the basis for establishing an occupational health and safety management system where none currently exists; evaluation of activities, products and services in order to establish the occupational health and safety hazards associated with routine and non-routine operating conditions and emergency situations and accidents; occupational health and safety legislation and how legal compliance forms part of an occupational health and safety management system, typical methods for evaluation occupational health and safety hazards identified and how their ranking influences operational control and priorities for improvement.
